Horseplay & Harmony was founded on the belief that meaningful progress in training begins with clarity, confidence, and connection.
While our work spans foundational handling through advanced ridden development — including liberty work, young horse starting, and classical dressage — the goal remains the same at every stage: to support horses in becoming calm, capable partners who understand their role in the training process and are able to move forward in their work with willingness and trust.
Our programs are designed to support the physical, mental, and emotional development of each horse through thoughtful, consistent training. By prioritizing communication and emotional regulation alongside biomechanics and athletic progression, we aim to create horses who are not only skilled in their work, but who are able to remain present and adaptable within it.
Through a relationship-first approach rooted in classical principles and modern behavioural understanding, Horseplay & Harmony supports both horses and riders as they move from Foundation to Refinement in a way that promotes long-term soundness, confidence, and partnership — both on the ground and under saddle.
Horseplay & Harmony operates out of Blitzen Estate, our 95-acre breeding, training, and sales facility located near Smiths Falls, Ontario. The property is also home to Blitzen Morgans, an established Morgan breeding program founded in 2010. This integrated environment allows us to thoughtfully support horses from early foundation through ridden refinement, creating continuity between breeding, training, and long-term athletic development.
