What format does the clinic follow?Trick horse clinics can be done in one or two day formats. We start our clinics with a 45min sit down session to talk about how horses learn, trick horse trainingand safety and what will influence the learning of your horse. We play a couple of fun games to getting everyone thinking about engaging their horses' mind and then we head off to the arena to work with the horses.
A trick session typically lasts 3.5-4 hours. This is the optimal learning time for horses and handlers. Our two day format clinics typically start in the afternoon or evening of a Friday or Saturday and continue into the following morning. One day sessions can be done in mornings, afternoons or evenings. Our clinics are 100% force-free methods. You'll find no short cuts, gimmicks or tools - just hard work, a positive attitude and plenty of laughs. What if I don't have a horse, but still would like to learn?Caylyn loves a challenge, she has trick trained donkeys, goats, mules and even a Zebu cow! You are also welcome to learn trick horse training with one of the amazing Morgans at our farm!
